Freedom is not free. For many service members, the ultimate price is paid so we can enjoy happy, free, and safe lives. Without the sacrifice of these brave Americans, we would be without many of the things we hold most dear today. We understand this sacrifice at the Shropshire Insurance Agency, and that is why we have decided to allocate donations this quarter to one organization that truly embodies what it means to honor those who have served.
That organization is the South Plains Honor Flight. The South Plains Honor Flight is a local Lubbock non-profit made up entirely of volunteers with one goal in mind: Provide Veterans with a means to visit Washington, DC, and pay their respects to their fallen brothers and sisters. Once a year the organization hosts an all-expense paid trip to DC for roughly 120 WWII, Korean, and Vietnam Veterans so they may have the opportunity to honor those who have served and paid the ultimate price. We wholeheartedly believe in their mission and want to help them continue their amazing work for years to come.
This is where you come in. When you recommend someone to our agency for a quote, we’ll donate $10 on your behalf directly to South Plains Honor Flight. And yes, that is for EACH friend you send us who receives a quotation! Together we can continue funding Honor Flights and serve those who have served us.
